I posted the my problem on PR. But I am willing to take other opinions what I should do.
here is my problem

I have been constantly getting network corruption error.

When I join the game it loads up smoothly but when it request client info it craps out. Battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142 don't do this to me.

It takes 15 mins until I get booted from the server because network corruption. I have tried everything to reinstall to uninstall and reinstall PB. and still nothing has worked.

Is the kick a Punkbuster specific kick? Do you get this on multiple servers? Have you tried connecting to a non-PB server? Any chance of a screenshot of the error?

Even if you reinstall punkbuster you still need to update it in most cases. Are you using pbsetup to update punkbuster?

I have a major problem and I will try to get a screen shot posted to support.

Ever since I installed 1.5 patch, my game has been bugged like hell. I used to play with AA 8x, 1600x1200 Everything set to high except textures on Medium (since vista forces me to do so). I would get that ocasioanal once a week ctd but other than that my game ran fine. Now I have the same except i have 1920x1200 resolution set now.

My game will play fine for 30 min or so then, it will start going into problems. First I would start getting sudden pauses in my game like jolts of 1/2 second lags. Second after 5 min of those lag tantrums I will lose textures or lighting or something idk. The ground will turn completely white and walls will turn black. Yesterday i saw a guy on mestia climb a rope and as soon as he got on to the rope, his figure was 3x larger on my screen so it looked like a disfigured huge person climbing. All i see in a tank is the turret in mid air (no tank body) and it is being suspended verticly by the barrel.

I am stubborn and so I figured since i was running a GTX285 OC2 1 GB that i wouldnt have any problems with memory or power etc. Plus 8gb of ram so idk. Can't be my comp right? I just updated my nvidia drivers too.

So i did something i thought i should do but maybe prematurely. I unintalled everything BF2 related (pr, mods patches etc.) and then i finished of by searching for anything that said battlefield 2 and deleted the folders. But now when i install, i insert disc 3 of bf2 and it tells me to restart the installation process. it keeps doing that.

Any ideas about both me not being able to install bf2 now and why my PR keeps doing that. Here are my specs. Any suggestions are welcomes and praised for . TYTYTY

The above sounds like an overheated video card. What is the video card temp?

What operating system are you running, and have you done any updates recently? Did the problems start when you updated your video card drivers or at a different time?

Do you happen to have a system restore point from before you had these issues that would be possible to go back to? Every weird system problem I have had (including a random memory leak two weeks ago) were fixed by simply reloading a previous System Restore point.

For re-installation, you did delete the BF2 folders in your program directory and also the My Documents folder right? If so, do you have a friend with a DVD copy of BF2 you could borrow to use for the installation (with your own key of course)?

Gamerz, clean your fans. I did that and all of my lag issues disappeared, as it was indeed a cooling problem.

It seems like something trivial, but a can of compressed air to the fans can do wonders.

okay PB has been giving me fits because PB kicks me out with communication error anyone got any suggestion what I should do?

its basically a typical you lagged out error. I get with Battlefield 2 PR when theres so much stuff going on at once.

Anyone know if there's a reason why the TG server would no longer show on my server lists screen? All the other servers show up just fine, but the only TG one I can find, is the disconnected (red) listing under favourites (the old 0.86 server).

I've also tried connecting by IP but I just get the failed ot connect, check network settings error message. However, I can connect to other servers just fine as usual. It's not like the TG server is dead or disconnected, as I see people are on there using mumble and it's populated according to battletracker.com

I'm stumped.

EDIT: Nevermind, I've solved it. Just like the EA server and mumble server, for some reason the TG server is also on PeerGuardian 2's P2P block list. Weird.

Im experiencing the same problem and I have a very fast computer too (only lag). I noticed that on some maps my processor is at 100% all the time (Quinling mainly). Weird thing is that IF I restart the game the lag dissapears and processor load goes back to 60-70%. I also noticed that if I had lag in one map it continues in the next.

I have just noticed this the last time I played so I need to check some things before I can say its this or that. Will check this weekend!

p.s. Rereading your post made me think of heat problem (like others have said), mainly on your videocard's memory.

Howdy guys.

I have a problem regarding mumble,

When commanding (and in command post) I can hear everyone no matter how far players are talking ( like I was out of the game), this problem immediately stops when I go out of the command post.

Howdy all. I keep getting punkbuster kicks after about 10 mins of play. The error message says it is punkbuster kicking me for a missmatch in the client shaders.zip. I tried manually updateing punkbuster but that didnt work. Any ideas?

My mic isn't working right..... i can hear myself, but my friend can't hear anything....
I plugged in it right, but still nothing....
I tried to fix the connection to the mic...... but still nothing...
Any ideas?

If you can hear yourself through the mic when testing it then it isnt broken, the problem is on your buddys end. Can anyone else hear you? If its only 1 person who cannot hear you then its a problem at their end.

Now someone seriously tell me how to fix my punkbuster shaders problem before i implode

Sorry for posting this here but alot of people dont check the PR technical problem thread and this is driving me barmy.

I keep getting punk buster kicked every 20 odd minutes due to an MD5 Tool mismatch in client shaders.zip.

Ive tried copying my shaders.zip to the relevent PR folder and the VBF2 folder. Ive manually updated punkbuster several times. To no avail.
Everything is running in admin mode.

This all started to happen when BF2 V1.5 came out

Please help! Luckily when i play at TG squad leaders understand my predicament when i explain it too them and lock the squad until i get back. But it means i can no longer fly transport or atk choppers, transport being something i really enjoy (because getting kicked with a full squad in the chopper wouldnt earn you any friends!!)

Please help its making PR un-playable!

Soupy - try uninstalling PR and reinstalling it, then apply the ALT-TAB hotfix to see if this will help fix the problem. If it does not then you might consider uninstalling *everything* - PR, BF2, etc. and then reinstalling BF2, patch it to 1.5, install PR, etc. I've had weird problems like yours before and this fixed the issue. It sucks because it takes so much time but it seems to be the only solution.
