Well Mushroom-soil did you try to install only BTF2 vanilla and checked if it works then? Second if it does not work you can try Startrekern his registry editing trick (should work since I did it too).

Most of the time when you get this problem it is a installation error that you cannot see nor solve. Try to uninstall everything and only install vanilla just to try!

BTW I have seen this problem before on computers with networks which are running with limited access accounts.

Hello

Just installed PR on Windows 7 x64. When i run the game i get the splash screen then it crashes everytime? is this a known issue?

Hi. Dont know if this is the right place but im a supporting member and after i made my new account in pr i cant join when the server is at 62 and have been kicked for supporting member. I changed my bf2 id on the profile page here at the forum. Am i forgetting something?

If you just did that, it takes (I believe) one map change for the server to recognize that you're a SM.

I'm having a kind of big PR problem here.

I'm using the Steam version of BF2 at the moment, and I can't even get past the Black Sand Studio screen. It doesn't crash, but it slows my entire computer down to a near stand still. Mouse movements, typing, Ctrl-Alt-Del, everything. After that I need to restart my computer to get it back to normal.

I'm using Win 7 x64-bit

I deleted the old versions of PR to squeeze Napoleon Total War in and now the icon says it can't find PR exe.
I still have the .9 stuff and I really don't want to reinstall .9 if I dont have to.
Any suggestions ?

Make sure your icon is pointed to the correct .exe, it may be pointing to your previous install. Reinstalling .9 over itself should only take about 5 minutes and won't change any of your settings if you still have the installers, so I don't think that is a terrible last option.

Hi guys, i'm having trouble connecting to mumble. Or getting it to work rather.

I connect to the default server, and then i find the TG channel. But its not a tree channel, and it doesn't drop down into the different teams. So i don't know if its working. Further, i seem to get disconnected by remote host about every 5 to 10 minutes and nothing other than the connections every enters the chat/waiting room side of the screen....

What am i doing wrong?

Sooooo I'm gettin back into the swing of things, but I gotta really dirty problem.

I load and evreything is fine, but at random, usually 10-15 minutes into gameplay my entire computer will crash and shut down... anyone?

I wanna cry myself to sleep everynight because I can't get a decent game going without without crashing

try toying with port forwarding, i do belive mumble has a specific port for that.

If you don't see the multiple server channels there is a little triangle on the left of the name that expands and collapses the individual channels. you are using the .5 PR specific mumble right?
