i am.

i went back home for spring break and i'm using my cable modem and i see everything fine.

i believe my college has blocked the port....

Any body got problems with Mumble on Win7?
I didn't have, but now it crashes every time i try to start it.
I have tried reinstalling it but that didn't help..
Neither does compatibility mode.
I have watched the task manager as i start mumble, seen it pop up in the processes and then simply disappear.

help plz.

xfire has been giving me PB kicks for incompatible or illegal drivers, appears to have been caused by a patch sometime over the weekend in case someone else has been getting that same message.

Kind of weird, I haven't been getting it. Maybe reinstall Xfire?

Well, i solved my own problem.
I am using D3DOverrider to be able to use Vsync on some games.
With D3DOverrider on, mumble wouldnt start.
I turned it off and mumble started..
After that i started D3DOverrider and everything works out fine.

Ok so i downloaded new PR v0.917 and when i join a game i get kicked 10 sec in "Service Communication Failure : PnKBustra. exe " i went and update PB and i still get this error ? never have any problems with last patch ? how can i fix this ?

Try restarting your computer, sometimes punkbuster stops running.

Hrm... Unfortunately I am out of ideas...

The only thing I can think of is that you might have the ports that punkbuster needs blocked - but I'm not too sure about that.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thx for the help recon i think i fixed it , seems it was a "fire wall " issue .. loaded a map and i didnt get kicked so looks like im good

I am getting BSOD's in PR, only when I play PR, not when I am doing anything else. When I blue screen, I restart, load up again, and all my Video and Audio settings are on lowest, so I have to put them back up to their highest to and resatr the game again before I can play. Happens at least once a night when I play. Any ideas/precedents?

Try:

- updating graphics drivers
- clearing the cache folder under my documents
- reinstalling PR

If none of the above works you can send me the minidump file and I 'll take a look at it. Should be stored under C:\WINDOWS\Minidump each time you get a BSOD. I should be able to tell you then what file is causing it.
