I always update PB manually before launching any Battlefield game. Takes 2 minutes and saves time in the end if you get problems with it.

This might be a bit overkill solution, but I just got so agravated with the whole program...

I might be getting this too, just quick question: I can save 15€ by not getting the package (that lacks some newest addon? -> more money), so should I just get the original as PoE and PR don't need anything else.

So how good is ''normal'' bf2 keeping in mind that I already have 2142?

Oh yeah and original game has max 1month shipping time and I can get package today from store if I'd like so (just to make it harder to tell :P)

You only need the original game, the addons aren't used here at TG.

After that you can download the BF2 1.41 patch, the files for PR and PoE which are free and then you are good to go!

Well I wouldn´t expect anything too awesome from BF2 vanilla. 2142 has all that it has and more. And sadly the TG vanilla server is always empty as well. I´ve been trying to get in to PR and I find it worth the money and more that you have to spend on the "basic" BF2.

BF2 expansion packs are not worth the money so save your 15 euros and just get the original game, also you are right POE2 and PR are totally free

the only reason to get spec forces is if you intend to play vanilla and get two additional sniper kits, as you go up in rank.

As for Armored fury I do not know if there are any additional kits available since i do not own it.

Ordering just the original edition as I don't see point getting this so said ''vanilla''.

bf2 are low in stock so it'll take a while for me to get one, but when it arrives I'll come and try!
