Audio Problemss (Big time...)
Hi and thanks for your help ahead of time.
I am running windows vista sp1 (sp2 came out today so i guess i gotta start telling people that). I am running an HP laptop with onboard sound. BF2voicesetup.exe wont execute. it shows up in the task manager sucks 50% of my cpu and doesnt do anything. 2 other problems that i think are related-- 1) in game if i click options -> audio my game locks up and i have to end task. 2) i cant even join a server that allows VoIP.

Re: Audio Problemss (Big time...)
I feel ya. Got issues with bf2 myself.
A bit more detail of what you have tried may help. I would advice updating the drivers to the latest of your motherboard company website, and disabling unused devices in your Vista sound controls.
Good luck, report back =)

Re: Audio Problemss (Big time...)
well basically i installed the game in safe mode because bf2voicesetup.exe would load and wouldnt do anything (it would hold up the setup forever) it executes in safe mode but my sound is disabled in safe mode
