New Video card Now BF2 will not run
I replaced my video card with a Galaxy 9500GT-I know it is a half crap card but my pci slot is the top one and I cannot use a double stack card. Anyway- after loading it and drivers the game starts as far as a black screen and then in 2 seconds it is desktop again. I did load latest drivers, directx, pb and have enough power etc for the card and memory etc. When I contacted the folks at galaxy they said it must just be a coincidence and it has nothing to do with their card or drivers etc. WTF? I sure could use a solution about now as it makes no sense to me- I am running on XP and have been playing BF2 for years without issue till now.

What was your previous GPU? Try your 9500GT in another computer. Do any other games work?
