Re: System specs for BF2?
You should be able to play at medium settings at best I'm guessing. You might try upgrading your vid card and overclock your CPU.

Everyone is going silly over the GF6600GT its both AGP and PCI-E versions, proccesor depends on your motherboard and socket.

A socket is the interface between the MB and the cpu. They are usually designated by the type of pin connects and layouts the cpu was designed with.

Socket 478=Pentium 4 class. Socket 370=Pentium 3 class.
I couldn't find your motherboard on the ABIT site, so I can't tell you what socket it is.

Re: System specs for BF2?
Get a 939, it's one of the new ones. Easier to upgrade the chip later. And get a 3200+ venice. Nice and cheap now.
