    Thumbs down Account Server not responding?

    I just tried a couple times to start BF2 and it hangs in the account server access wait screen after the logon screen. On this Planet BF2 forum people seem to experience the same problem.
    Gigabyte P35-DS3R, 2GB, 8800GTS 640MB, Core2Duo E8400

    same thing is happening to me. I got in once on a second account I had but it took forever and a day. I clicked on the BFHQ after i got on and it took like 15 minutes just to load my player stats so i quit.

    Their account server is probably just not responding.

    Seriously though, usually it gets fixed pretty quick.

    It hangs my PC every time I try to login. Can't get to desktop and it won't shutdown.

    Threee of us went pubbing this morning. It took us awhile to finally get in. If you wait long enough it will load.

    Same thing here, both SF and BF2 Vanilla. Hangs and locks the comp so I have to do a hard shutdown.

    Anyone else having a problem logging in to BF2 account server?

    I keep trying to start up BF2 this morning and I get to the "Connecting to Account Server" message and it just sits there forever. Well, haven't quite tested it to forever, but for a long time. Anyone else having a problem? I panic at the thought of something wrong specific to my computer - may just trt reinstalling the 1.12 patch just to see if that helps.

    The account server is probablly under really heavy load since it's a weekend and SF has just recentlly been released.

    took me 13 minutes to get in, but then everything seems fine...

    (aside fromt he fact that server 1 = 0/64 !!)

    oh - and i don't have SF installed...



    Edit: now 1/64 if you get in

    Yes folks.. EA sever is not responding to accounts.. I don't know why.

    It just started since 1 am central last nite..

    My trigger finger is getting rest now.. maybe there is a NON EA game to play now.

    While awaiting some news and a fix ---

    I found it-

    Its called a BOOK..Made of paper in pages and bound together, I read it and it has a story- how nice.

    bf2web, the GameSpy account database, is having extreme stress on their servers right now. My stat sig is having TIMEOUT(31) errors, and can't load stats correctly.

    I assume the same goes for the bf2 client when it tries logging in.

    Anyone having difficulties loggin in?

    Right now (2:30 pm PST), icant even log in, it stays at "connecting to account server"
