Server or game problem or mayby my puter

Hey all,

If anyone can give me an idea what my problem is I would appreciate it. I have been getting very poor gameplay recently. I have been watching my ping to server 1 and it jumps all over from 40 to 2500.

Here are a couple of photos or a traceroute.

do these indicate an problem? I don't know much about where problems might arise outside of my ISP. If there are any other things I can do to provide more info let me know. If the game play continues like this I will have to stop playing BF2 on server 1. And I don't want to do that....

I, too, have been having severe ping problems, though probably not quite as severe as yours. I know on server one, my ping often bounces between 50-250, with occasional peaks in the 600 range. Right after I patched, I was kicked twice for high ping (around 400) during a pub raid. Was working fine for the morning pub games, then died right after I patched.

Even when my ping is in a normal range, I'm getting sliding/teleporting people, which reeks havok on CQC shotgun attempts.

Seems like an isolated problem with just me, though, as I seem to be getting the highest ping on server one recently, and nobody else gets kicked on pub raids for high ping.

Actually I have been getting kicked on pub raids but not all the time. It is Sunday night and I just tried to get into tac mod but server 1 is returning a 325+ ping. That is unplayable. Video and Audio both just skip around. Any your right... it does seem to be since the patch.
