Hello all. I'm new here, just introduced myself under 'new members' section.
Still finding my way around, so excuse me if this is in the wrong place.
I have been trying to use VOIP during a game, however, it works for a certain period of time, then it switches itself off. I press escape and it won't let me re-check the VOIP box.
Is there any reason for this?
Is it a better idea to use Teamspeak or something, and if so, how do I know what IP to use to communicate with everyone, if that's even possible?
Sorry, not great with computers and such. Hope someone can help.

Is it true that turing graphics settings down takes the grass away?

Thanks for the reply, the link doesn't help me much unfortunately, too technical for me.
I'll try turning the detail down, but I doubt I'll like it if it does work. I LOVE sneaking through the jungle, having all the graphics on high adds to the experience IMO.

Cheers Lucky Shot. I've run DXDiag, not sure what I was looking for, so I slid a bar down to 'no acceleration' or something under the sound. Will give it a try, see what happens.

It's a little utility that resets your mic settings when they are changed. I don't know if this will work, as I've never had the problem, but some people have reported success for when BF2 decides to automagically change their mic input.
