login/menu and in game screen
when i start up up bf2 the movies work but as soon as it get to the login in screen theres no background movie no ligin boxs only the sqaures you write in also there is a yellow thing at the bottom of the screen but in the menu it does the same thing and when your in the game it just has a the sky nothing else comes up plz help

do you have the newset drivers for your vid card installed?
if not update them. If you do then a clean install of BF2 may help sounds like some kind of video setting is corrupting the game.
