    Re: USB Headset...killing my night

I had one tangle in my chair and I spun too fast and the cord detached from the jack but I didn't know it. Nobody could hear me so I felt in the back of my computer to see if it was still plugged in and of course it was (but not really). So I just figured my computer was broken but when I pulled on the headphones I was surprised to see the cord but no jack.

    These are funny stories...love it.

At my company a new guy was so excited about a deal close (yeah, not gaming, or at least better not be...that is for me only) I watched him jump up, and run to the fax only to have his headset catch and somehow catch his shirt and pull his tower off the desk...the best was the near whiplash effect his head made...

Yea i just got my Logitech headset and had same problem, I dont if your's is like mine but there is a glowing light when that is blinking the microphone is muted. And you have to load everything before the USB microphone is plugged in.

I thought usb was supposed to be less hassle, plug and play and all that. It makes my 2 sound card setup seem simple

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.
