Bad Sandbags
I seem to be having a graphics issue with battlefield after recently installing it on a new computer. Almost all sandbags I've encountered in both PoE and PR have strange skins. They appear either metallic, reflective, or monochrome. I would post an example screenshot, but I don't seem to be allowed to. (Spambot control reasons I suppose.)
I haven't noticed it happening in vanilla, but then again, I haven't played much vanilla since the new install. If anyone could offer an idea what the problem is and how to fix it, that would be great. I can post video specs if need be.

Re: Bad Sandbags
Me too, not as often but I used to get it on vanilla battlefield occasionally. Haven't a clue what causes it so I would be interested to find out. Good Luck.

Screenshot! I'm really curious about anything which makes others see different things than I.

Re: Bad Sandbags
The messed up sandbags have been around since vanillas release. You'll only see the issue if a certain setting(s) is set to high. The sandbags use 'parallax' mapping on high settings so something is going wrong with that.
This topic has a couple screens icky:

Ah, I see. A kind of 3d-effect applied to flat textured surfaces. When it's broken, you instead get a flat effect applied to flat surfaces.

Re: Bad Sandbags
Do you know which settings adjustments would fix the problem?
