    Finding my BF2 key

Hey guys. I lost all my BF2 CD's a while back and my packaging. I'm sure it's around but I'm not going to look for it. I need my key now for something, and I was wondering if it's possible to find it in the registry when i installed it. If someone knows where to look, that'd be great! Thanks.

    Re: Finding my BF2 key

The cd key in the registry is SUPPOSED to be encrypted, I do not know if you can actually get you real cd key from it. EA apparently started encrypting the registry keys I think when the v1.21 patch came out. Anyway I take it you already know how to open registry editor... so HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Electronic Arts > EA Games > Battlefield 2 > ergc. That is where the encrypted cd key is at, how to get your actual cd key I would have no idea. Maybe someone else can help you now.
