What I meant is that a single LAT hardly does any damage to a tank or APC... you need at least two and an ammo source to make them useful. A tank that takes two LAT shots in the back would just move to cover and repair. I don't consider a Humvee as an armoured vehicle... windows don't provide cover against rockets.

Mind that I said armoured vehicles, not choppers or jeeps.

Amdak has some good points, but what I 'm saying is that currently there is too much discussion on the server when people use AT. The rules obviously don't work and not enough people report 'rule-breakers'. I even had people telling me I was 'whining' for reporting such cases.

If it was up to me people would be banned a lot easier, especially if they were supporting members, aware of the rules and still breaking them...

I do agree with you on the rule problems. The fact that we have such a long list on "at rules", and the fact that they aren't truly officially written up, causes alot of problems. Not to mention that HAT missiles and TOW missiles look the same coming at your face, it's hard to tell which is which on the receiving end, yet one is legal and one is not. And if I see anyone HAT sniping (and I mean sniping, not turning the corner with your at out and a guy's in your face and you freak out and shoot,) they're getting kicked and I'll be on the lookout for that person in the future.

Personnaly, I think HAT, LAT or nade launcher should be permit on enemy in fortify area or SNIPER. Right? We don't have heavy fire support, nor the air strike... If enemy is in a construction site, LAT and nade launcher (or even HAT...for my oppinion) is a very good idea to drive them out of the objective area. I was an infantry myself (some of you who was really a combat ground unit) should understand the effective of forplay bombardment. Company leader sometimes protest to send out their troops to attack enemy fortify position without a proper bombard.
So...I think LAT and nade launcher MUST use for dig out enemy!!!

With reference to the John Rambo instructional PR video. For clarity's sake what are the rules on bows and arrows on infanty/fixed structures, just in case they are ever introduced, oh and do I need to be shirtless when firing said bow? I am concerned about nipple twanging if shirtless.

And dont forget the arrows with explosive heads! I think it's unfair for Rambo to get to use them against infrantry.

Note how in this clip, "Turkish Rambo" uses an rpg against all sorts of infrantry. And he also as unlimited rpg ammo hidden somewhere, probably in his nuthuggers.

Yet more evidence that terrorists can be trained on the internet. Who'd have thought that that an RPG could be used for CQB and room clearances? It's that kind of innovation that makes the terrorists so hard to counter. I may be mistaken but did that guy on the stairs try to strangle him with a magicians rope, that's what it looked like to me. That is solid gold footage there, I think 'turkish' is what the director was smoking.

So our squad just got LAT spammed on Phoenix in the open desert by TG people... say what you want but this has nothing to do with tactical gaming. We brought it up and they started calling us 'whiners', this server is looking more and more like any other public server.

PS: LAT on infantry in an open area is still not allowed, sad to see it happen and encouraged from our TG regulars.

While LAT may be allowed against infantry spamming it repeatedly, while not against the rules is very unsportsmanlike and in my opinion against what TG stands for. Some of the things I saw on the server tonight were, while legal, cheap, and I would think people that play on our server, especially TG regulars, can play with a certain level of maturity to know when enough LAT spamming is enough, regardless or rules.

And I think he's right. When TG tagged PRM players piss all over the whole tactics and sportsmanship ethos of this place, I start to seriously consider binning PRM and taking up ArmA with the 1st MIP lads...

Such behaviour should warrant a ban, regardless of what tag you wear in my opinion.
