Re: Jihad Cars
Just left click your mouse. If it horns... you got a spawncar, if it plays funky music... start dancing.

Re: Jihad Cars
that was a blast i believe i was in your squad..........now i look forward to being on the insurgent team everytime on al basrah aka al bashrah. Nothing more fun than blowing up a bridge then running a vehicle into an unsuspecting apc just when troops disembark and then KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Re: Jihad Cars
I really wish I had gotten the BR file for it, but a couple of months ago (at least) I managed to bag a Cobra (this sort of tells you how old it is) in my homemade jihad motorcycle.
I am not at all sure what the circumstance was, but the cobra landed in the middle of the field (possibly for repairs). I was hesitant at first since it was near tons of unfriendlies, but after about 15 seconds of his spooling up the rotors, I told my self "The hell with it" and I gunned the motorcycle across the field.
I detonated just as he was taking off.
The best moment of my insurgent life.

Re: Jihad Cars
If you haden't noticed, its quite ok and an often occurance, AS AN INSURGENT (that being the key word), to creat your own jihad vehicle.

Re: Jihad Cars
0.7 will concentrate VBIED's to only mapper placed (no more making EVERY insurgents vehicle a bomb car).
the VBIED strength will be increased greatly, as will the IED strength and explosive radius, making roadside IED's finally a useful tactic

Re: Jihad Cars
Sounds good to me. The only concern I have is that hopefully those VBIED's aren't static. Otherwise people will almost immediately start to memorize their locations and act accordingly. Sort of like what happened with the spawn cars in previous iterations of 'Basrah.
However, if they are placed with a system not-unlike what is used to spawn the Caches, then I'm all for it.Focused
