i periodically say roger that at work.

I work in nyc, and a few months ago a older guy tripped in front of my office, and i helped him up and said "you'll live buddy now get back to the fight." he looked at me very puzzled and then i cracked up laughing....it was quite humorous, and scary that i actually said that. I still chuckle when i tell that story.

i also look up construction cranes and construction sites differently, sometimes looking up to make sure theres not a sniper.

Sometimes I see colored tags floating above peoples heads for a split second, the red ones make my mind go into action mode, make me feel for a trigger and expect a pop. Its a good adrenaline rush sometimes. The other day I said "Mount up" to one of my friends when she asked me to drive her to her car.. got a weird look for that one.

Once I was walking around outside and when I turned a corner I saw three white cement blocks propped up against each other next to a tree. The hair on the back of my neck stood up and "Rally Point!" flashed in my head. Then I realized it was just some cement.
My only reality blur moment. Sure did look a lot like a rally point though.

Good thread. I sometimes hear game sounds when I'm tired or "zoning out". I can't say that I've actually imagined I saw something from a game, but I frequently hear the most popular noises. Kinda like the beep I use for my cell when receiving a txt. I hear that thing all the time and I swear my phone is just messing with me. I will use radio language a lot, but then that's almost normal for me. Between gaming with comms, playing Airsoft with GMRS radios and four wheeling with CBs and GMRS, I talk on a radio of some sort pretty often.

When my friends get drunk or tired I like to Rub both my fists together like I am "charging" my firsts up, I look at them while they are usually laying down and yell "CLEAR!!!!!" When I was a guild leader on WoW, I had a recurring dream which involved me and my guys failing over and over at this boss fight that was plaguing us for weeks.

Then I quit and got a girlfriend for a while.

In retrospect I'll take the WoW over the bitching.

.....

In BF2 terms I sometimes catch myself seeing the world with a HUD at the edge of my vision. Also, and I know this isn't just from gaming, but when I enter a room or building I'm constantly sizing up the corners and obstacles as if a firefight were about to erupt. That's a fun distraction when you're bored.

i cant say i ever actually had any of those experiences with bf2 but with after watching a movie i somtimes tend to say skinnies in the bush (the russians cause they have shaved heads).

I was a civi for Halloween. None of my friends got it, but we all went downtown and some random guy runs up to me with a plastic knife and pokes me and yells to his friends "I got one! The cache is this way!" None of them got it either but I was so happy.
