Re: does this happen to anyone else?
Today my friend's 6 year old nephew recognized the crack of the AK being shot about half a mile away at a range............
Nephew to my Friend: Was that an AK48 (I know it's 47, but still!)
Us: .....................................

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
Sometimes I hear two beeps in quick succession and always want to run back through the door I just came through, thinking that the noise is a sentry turret from TF2.
Me and my RL friends who also play TF2 often quote TF2 characters - "I am fully charged!", "Schnell! Go get zem!" etc.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
I was at a hockey game and during intermission I saw a guy with binoculars (don’t know why he even had them) looking through them at the zamboni that was cleaning the ice and I thought the guy had a soflam and was lasing the zamboni which I thought was a friendly tank so I immediately looked towards my friend and told him to start lasing all around the tank (zamboni) to prevent the enemy jet from getting a lock on the friendly tank (zamboni)
Extremely embarrassing
P.S. i was half asleep at that moment

Yeah, if I went to a hockey game I would be embarrassed too.

As long as nobody walks up to a middle eastern man, places zip-tie cuffs on him and starts interrogating him on the location of the weapons cache, I think we're all doing OK....

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
People be careful PR might be outlawed for disturbing the peace and many car accidents.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
I also play PR alot when my girlfriend is coming home from her work shift. Since im usually leading squads, a few times i had her talking to me at game time. I press B key and say stuff like. "Yeah the hamburger is thawed!", or "Your mom keeps leaving stupid messages on our answering machine!"
My squad mates are like... huh ?

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
Favorite PR moment: The very first time I jumped in front of a moving vehicle while holding down the enter vehicle key. I haven't tried that in real life yet, thank god PR broke that habit quick.
As for real life... my friends and I used to talk about FPS games a lot in public. Things like pointing out great locations for a sniper, and noting where cover and concealment could be found on certain approaches in the area. Surprisingly nobody ever arrested us, but we did get some funny looks from time to time.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
I have the same problem. I have to actually try to not hit the B button when I'm talking to my wife while playing PR. I remember one time my wife was asking me what I wanted for dinner, I proceeded to give a Thanksgiving list of food (whilst holding B button down) ,"Mac and cheese, baked beans, bbq chicken, mashed potatoes, creamy corn and last but not least, Chocolate Iced brownies w/ choc chips in it (my wife's specialty)...I think our squad disbanded and everyone went to go grab food after that
....I'm hungry again now...crap.

I'm Back.
