Re: does this happen to anyone else?
As far as the brain thing goes:The term "addiction" is used in many contexts to describe an obsession, compulsion, or excessive physical dependence or psychological dependence, such as: drug addiction, crime, alcoholism, compulsive overeating, problem gambling, computer addiction, etc.
In medical terminology, addiction is a state in which the body relies on a substance for normal functioning and develops physical dependence, as in drug addiction. When the drug or substance on which someone is dependent is suddenly removed, it will cause withdrawal, a characteristic set of signs and symptoms. Addiction is generally associated with increased drug tolerance. In physiological terms, addiction is not necessarily associated with substance abuse since this form of addiction can result from using medication as prescribed by a doctor.
However, common usage of the term addiction has spread to include psychological dependence. In this context, the term is used in drug addiction and substance abuse problems, but also refers to behaviors that are not generally recognized by the medical community as problems of addiction, such as compulsive overeating.
The term addiction is also sometimes applied to compulsions that are not substance-related, such as problem gambling and computer addiction. In these kinds of common usages, the term addiction is used to describe a recurring compulsion by an individual to engage in some specific activity, despite harmful consequences to the individual's health, mental state or social life.

I just hope he would be clean by then...i wonder if there are any psychologists within the TG community and what their prognosis would be? I know E-Male might have some thoughts or could enlighten us.
*Back to the topic:
I have noticed since playing PR that overall my sense of direction and location has actually gotten a lot better, now I am not trying to say that I was completely lost or confused before playing PR, but now especially when I come out of the Subway in NYC i can find my bearings for North, South, East, and West much better. Its like i have the compass that is attached to my screen in front of me at all times. Though I have said on some occasions (fortunately family members had not heard) the location as to where i am going to be 85 degrees to the left or to the NW. - That is very rare that i would actually say it out loud.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
I never was good with actual cardinal directions (NSEW; I just can't seem to bring myself to remember what's "up" in real life), but my general, unaligned sense of direction (IE understanding/remembering that my current heading is 90 degrees off an earlier one; remembering floor plans, etc) was always good and has only improved with PR.

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
lolz that would be funny.... I wrote form instead of from once.... Ahhh good times. Hmmm I usually get a mixture of school, PoE, PR, and whatever else happened that day. So my dreams tend to get very weird.

I get paranoid quite a bit, it's more about when I'm alone in a forest somewhere, I see something moving and get all jumpy and I find out it's a tree that's swaying in the wind.
And whenever someone opens the door behind me I get all freaked and fire at nothing.|TG-69th|Berlancic2"Speed. Aggression. Surprise."

Re: does this happen to anyone else?
I've realized that I have been playing too much PR, and have been seeing a lot of things happening lately.
For example:
At a stop light I space my car at least a half a cars length between myself and the car in front of me.
After my nieces christening and after seeing friends and family on Christmas, I have asked family members and friends what the "Sitrep" is on photos being uploaded or emailed.
I am able to find excellent vantage points to shoot by looking at the buildings while walking down the street in midtown Manhattan, both on the ground and from the buildings above, and I know what doorways to stand against if a vehicle decides to drive up on the sidewalk.
construction cranes are no longer a threat because everyone knows that if someone decides to go up there A) they won't be able hit you with the marksmen rifle B) by the time the first shot is fired they will be vaporized by the cobra, SAW fire, APC, or they will have fallen off of it.
I know perfect areas in my town and neighborhood where helicopters can land, and I know the areas where they will actually land and how many trees they will hit as they attempt the landing and how many they will hit as they crash.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Driving down the road... Stopping, and getting out to listen. jk... or am i?
Saying copy and roger...
Using north, south, east, west, and general bearings (90, 180, 270) when I refer to directions. And I mean excessively, I would say go east next door to my neighbors house.
Bathroom's north of you...
Oh, and for people who pick on me, I visualize my gunner, firing a heat round at your feet and launching you in the air...csxgamerz
