Re: GameTracker.com scores
It's a pity that these games do not fully reward teamwork and basically cater the scoring to the run and gun "I gotz moar killz than yoo" type of player. Personally I take very little from the scoring and I find it very suspicious when I, as a humble engineer, take the high score. Something is just not right with the scoring in PR, but as I said, I pay little attention to it and feel that it only promotes the vanilla rank mentality.

The very fact that you would know that has lowered my opinion of you.

Re: GameTracker.com scores
Whoever on TS last night that suggested there be actual rankings in PR was very very...wrong.
I know I'm not alone when I say that I honestly hated playing some games because they were ranked.
The day PR gets stats is the day I stop playing. But then again, TG PR will never have stats

Re: GameTracker.com scores
Score: 115854 Minutes: 7647
Score per Minute: 15.2
Player Rank on Server: 71st out of 20,508
not so great, but my score per min is like second best out of the regulars XD
I also have to agree with skud, they should never rank pr, it would induce mass noobism.

Re: GameTracker.com scores
It is allready ranked just not so much on TG because we dont do ABR or anything but there is a global PR top 10 scoreboard, etc like I linked to.
Nothing wrong with stats alone but its obviously sad when numbers mean more then actions. I was never bothered with stats in bf2 except for the unlock guns I wanted. The only stat I wanted was the overall win/loss ratio and mine was crap tbh though I never switched sides in a game for that reason, if it is possible to influence that way even.
It can be interesting to look back and see what you are good or bad at I reckon
Anyone playing on three year old tags?

Re: GameTracker.com scores
The only, and I mean only thing good about the BF2 rankings were the medals. It gave you a sense of accomplishment and really nothing else. The idea that a person with rank is a better player is foolish and really only meant that they played more, so those who play occasionally and casually basically get penalized for having a life since they didn't have access to all the weapons. When I played vBF2, I mostly played on servers that had all the weapons unlocked locally so that it evened the playing field a lot. It was still vBF2, but not as bad as some of the public servers out there.

Re: GameTracker.com scores
my rank look down and click
also it is possibl efor our server to have its own ranks, all an admin would have to do is ad a couple of files and we can have our own ranks like battlearena?

Re: GameTracker.com scores
before joining the 6th I believe i was in the top 100, or top 120, when I was using the name BHD Delta*RandyShugart*
Since joining the 6th I haven't checked my account in 3 weeks or so, I even changed the spelling of my name to RandyShugart and signed up on realitymod.com with it, however I was told to change it (the first time i signed up i did it at my old name but was told to change it, since it was the name of MOH recipeint RandShugart, obv!!, even spelling it wrong I was still denied access, hence the reason why i have it without the 'H' in game.)
Though i am guessing if I add up the score to both accounts that I use/used on the TG server I still won't be able to crack Dirtboy's score, but who knows maybe ill will be in the top 70 with the total points......because in theory, all i did was change the name not the style of play.......but since using the different name i haven't really thought twice about it, though i think i have played over 300 hours, which is a TON!Randy = Ace ! - Warlab
