I have to say, I miss alot of the British maps, such as Mesita and Fools. Fools Road really showcased the lighter assets of the Brits, such as their rifles and APC's, as I use to love climbing hills in the Scimitar. I hope the new maps for Militia vs Britain, and doesnt get diluted to Russia vs Chechnya. For a community faction, 3 maps are enough in my opinion.
I really hope the new Jackal is implemented if its used by British armed services.I dont think Britain was ready for a non conventional war, and I think the land rover is a shining example, as they were heavily based on WW2 Land rovers, meant for doing rapid raids on the German's, in an era were resupply and communication was a individuals dream in the harsh climate of 1940's Africa. However, in today's technoligical advance, with the possibilites of airbourne supplies and GPS positioning, the light vehicles really aren't needed in an insurgency operation.
Maybe this is better suited on the realitymod.com forums, but is there a way to take out the prone diving/dolphin diving action that has kind of, at least in my experience turned into an exploit.
Maybe make the weapon not usable for 2 seconds, even the knife?
Or make it that you have to be crouched in order to go prone.
I really never knew what players meant by prone driving/dolphin diving, until about 3 weeks ago and up until now where i have experienced being killed/watching players constantly do it, its quite childish IMHO.

Appearantly this has been addressed with the new BF2 1.5 patch.. that we are not currently implementing. When the patch is fully implemented into PR then the dolphin diving problem will be solved..... (appearantly)

"apparently" being the keyword here pancho. Only thing apparent about BF2 with the coding is it is a tune to hacking your way through the amazon forest with a butterknife. Impractical, and annoying.
No I think the patch just increases the timing on the dive which pr has already done to a greater extent
What it is supposed to do is have a coding change that will allow the devs to factor in a greater deviation for an alloted period of time after changing stances. This way, you go prone, deviation shoots through the roof, then settles after time to very accurate

I mis-spoke.. After doing some reading on Reality Mod trying to find the DEV quote, I read that the patch only addresses PRONE no other stance will be affected.. So people will still be able to POP UP and be accurate.
