    Liquid:

Tracers are used for forces to be able to locate their fire and direct friendlies toward enemy units by firing toward them. So you can see where targets are.

They are an optional thing in all weapons with usually every 5thor so round being a tracer, though in insurgent cases they usually jsut stick to regular bullets as for the example you gave, it's easier to ambush and also the better killing power of that 2-3 extra bullets per mag :P

Really nice to see that they fixed the attack huey. It's alose nice that they made the Ats get their splah back since the LAT's job is partly anti-personell and fortification.

Ok dumb question, but what does this mean (Fixed M249 ELCAN deployed/undeployed mag-linking.)?

When you shoot bullets with the M249 ELCAN in deployed mode, and you switch to the M249 ELCAN in undeployed mode, you don't magically get those bullets back because the ammunition is linked.

Ah ok, I'm an idiot. For some reason I thought they were gonna screw with how accurate it is.

Whenever mag-linking is mentioned, it refers to making the BF2 engine match the amount of ammunition in both weapons, so that if you fire off a magazine in deployed mode a magazine is taken away in undeployed mode too.

    - Fixed kit reservation issues.
No more medics/ARs leaving your squad and making your squad crippled? If so, awesome.

    - Updated mine markers so players can place multiple ones.
Definitely a good thing, also means that grenade traps can be properly marked. Hopefully they will get some use, they can be very useful if they aren't taking out 13 other insurgents.

    - Added commander UAV to conventional armies (full color) and Chechen (greyscale) command posts.
Huh. Full color for conventional armies. Never woulda thought, but cool nonetheless.

Also +1 awesomeness for attack hueys being righted. I can only imagine on the first day that someone will still use it like it was a flying tank.

Yep, and then they'll realize the hard way it's not the tank it was famed to be.

Was the cache in the main ?

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

I know you're not suppose to shoot into main. It's really bloody hard when there's a cache right next to it. And not to camp the main. Because if you shoot someone 100m away from main on fallujah they're going to call it baserape. And everyone on the insurgent team will have a hissy fit.
