Wow they look really nice and should be fun to use. I asume the whole crew will be enclosed on the inside and can't get shot out?

    New arty for 0.9:

In the video, the projectiles timings should be actually a little closer together, but we are working on it.

looks cool, I hope that when he meant realistic impact area it meant it's going to cover a radius bigger than 50 metres. Well, that's a bit extreme.

I know for a fact that on operation archer the mortar attacks (I understand 105mm and mortars are different) on the US base affects 1/4 to 1/3 of the entire US base.
I think there's types of different fire methods used, one has the shells spread out, the other is precision. I just hate how the mortars and even the big arty doesn't affect too big of an area, IMO.

Sweet mother, I sure wouldn't want to be sitting in the middle of that barrage... First of all I (meaning the player-me) would probably go deaf, and second of all I (the in-game me) would most likely be scattered over a square-mile radius.

But hey, doesn't that just mean it's got to be great if/when it comes?

    Time for another revive.

I had to leave two rows of images out in the end because you can only post 50 at once. You can find them here

I 'm really happy to see a none insurgency map and man does it look great!

This map was started about 2 years ago (former name: Airborne) for the German Forces community faction. Now that the map is finished but the German Forces are not, it will most likely make its appearance in PR v0.9. Once the German Forces get released, they will replace the US.

It is based somewhere in eastern Europe / Russia and offers wide open grassy landscapes mixed with dense forests and tarmac compounds. The assaulting team (US) will have a automatically rotating cargo plane to spawn on and drop their paratroopers.

Once an abandoned airfield is taken, heavy air support will spawn and provide ground troops and heavy vehicles with fire support while the russian team has the advantage of better established positions from the start.

    Hope you like it

Agreed. The general look reminds me of when OFP was released in 2001.

Silent Eagle looks like it boasts one of the most realistic urban/forested area that we've seen so far in PR. The church/chapel shot really packs a punch, it just feels 'right.'

    Can't wait.

Agree with all of you and wish we had more maps like this in PR.

For some reason it reminds me of POE.
