    on silent eagle:
    Main features:
    - 4 x 4 km Woodland
    - Heavy vehicles (all assets)
    - US vs RUS
    - Paratrooper spawn
    - AAS random
    - Abandoned airfield , Town, Tunnel complex , Rocket silo , Powerplant , etc...
    will it be like on kashan, 32-attack choppers, 64-jets ?
    will we be able to move inside the buildings inside the city?

    edit: alright looking at the screenshots most building have open doorways, what about the church ?

    I wouldn't be surprised if Marine added his reading experience of the Twilight novels into this map, and if he ended up giving feedback from what he saw visually in the movie versions.

    'Beautiful' is a word I very rarely use to describe a map. This is one of the few that I think will qualify.

    The map focuses on mostly light vehicles, helicopter and infantry combat over snowy, hilly terrain, with lots of woodland mixed in, which the British and PLA Forces will battle it out over this landscape to the end

    The map was largely crated with L3DT and is what I would call a "Terrain Based Map", since pretty much the entire map is simply just that, terrain. There are only 8 static objects in total on this map and thous are all helipads that have been sunken under the terrain to allow choppers to reload at the main base. Other than that, absolute no statics on the map and you will need to rely entirely on the terrain and the overgrowth for your cover/concealment on this barren landscape!

    All the vehicle and player reskins where also done by me other than the PLA Player Camo which was done by [R-DEV]wolfi some time ago and most of the tree snow reskins where done by matt.b ages ago.

    As mentioned before, this map was only developed for a one off community event so what happens to it after that we haven't made our minds up about that quite yet but in order for PR to have a "official snow map", we would need to do lots of work with crating lots of new materials, sounds, effects, textures etc that would take a lot of our workforce a lot of time to complete, this map is a simple knock up right now

    I said the same thing re: Qinling, from the screenshots (specifically the lake) but not the mini-map.

    Silent Eagle looks all sorts of awesome; it reminds me of some of those forest-village maps from PoE2 with the German faction (Orel?), just bigger and better.
