not a fan of all the lowered view distances, but i know a lot of you were having lag issues so, so be it.
Lowered bomb vs APC/Tank armour damage.
no like. i thought it was accurate. Ex... called danger close CAS on a tank on silent eagle, which had a BMP 20m away from it, and inf 40m away in the same direction. one 500lb shack on the Tank caused the BMP to burn and esplode, and the inf to get smoked. seemed fine. why change.
Replaced Taliban scout SKS with a PPSH.
like. some won't though... the SKS's increased dmg made it deadly in a shooter's hands...
Replaced militia medic's AKS47 with a Simonov
no like. that was one of my fav weapons.
Lowered maximum number of TOWs per team from 3 to 2.
like. less TOW fire missions on inf.
Medic kit requires 2 players in the squad to be requestable, instead of 4. LIKE. no more unnecessary deaths in 3man squads.
Fixed Gary and Big Red (insurgent bomb trucks) hitpoints, and number of bombs really dropped.
like. assuming they mean hit points are smurfed, IE no more direct HAT hit survivals.
Fixed Galil SAR recoil.
I hope this doesn't mean they increased recoil... i liked having a 7.62 AR with 9mm recoil...
Updated M4 aimpoint position to improve peripheral vision. LIKE now i will own you even harder in CQB.

I singlehandedly wiped a 4-man squad with the SKS once on Basra. It was quite epic, if I do say so myself.
Though they later came back and killed me just before the map ended.
I don't like TOWs built specifically to kill inf, but I think maybe cutting TOWs on certain (smaller?) maps and keeping all 3 on stuff like Yamalia might be good. And TOWs on Fools just strike me as a horrid, horrid idea anyway... stupid brits.
"It's called a randomizer, and it's fitted to the guidance systems and operates under a very complex scientific principle called pot luck."
The SKS is often underestimated. It certainly doesn't have the range of a BLUFOR assault right, but fires the same-sized round as an AK-47 and is deadly in close quarters where two hits max will take out a guy.
I remember going toe to toe with 3 British riflemen in a CQB fight with an SKS. I came out on top with a fast trigger finger, lots of yelling and an ungodly amount of luck. I will miss the SKS... She served well
I never could get the confounded contraption to hit anywhere near where my sights were, the shots always went wild. I used to run around with the bayonet out because it was simply more useful to me. PPSH on the other hand....

I think it's just going to be the showcase for the DEV team's work PR:BF2, PR:V, PR:ArmA2, and PR2, or something along those lines.
This is so that in a few months, when a Project Reality mod for every PC game with a multiplayer component is announced, you'll only have to go to one website to see which of the games you want to look for another player in. Imagine(calling it now), PR: Project Reality.

Big fan of the SKS, and with my luck with the ak74 I am open to using the siminov, big fan of it.
Glad to see the TOW update, I think this will increase the enjoyment of playing as an insurgent on maps like archer, and will hopefully reduce the TOW spam on infantry in general.
dumb question, but I'll ask it anyways. Is it safe to put my view distance back up to 100% its currently at 98%.
*Also glad to see the devs have not implemented the Ipad as an addition to the SL radio. We are safe..........

I up and read the wiki page on the Galil family of firearms, and SAR stands for "short assault rifle", which does have 7.62 varients... with either 20 mags or 25 mags (556 has 30 mag). The Galil available to rebels in PR definitely has the smaller mag... and it has the damage output of the higher caliber, which is why it was so kickass with the low recoil.

Galil SAR is only available to the Hamas and IDF. Galil SAR has 30 rounds in the mag, both for the Hamas and IDF.
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
