Diggin' the new animations and 3d ironsights, looks like the QBB is a real b**** to shoot though.

If scoped weapons accuracy and recoil is the same...it looks like the Ironsite vs scopes balance is going to be worse than ever.

Hopefully, this will make firefights more enduring as opposed to the quick, headshots when engaging hostiles at 200 meters plus. To the contraire dirti, I think this will force people to be more generous with their ammo and use surpression as a tactic much more often.

    Re: PR Dev Journal.

Well the recoil should be the same on both, and the only assaultrifle ingame that have any recoil to talk about is the G3. and here it is not hard to line up the sights, or atleast it shouldn't be so dont think that this will give the scope weapons more of an advantage than they should have.

google, in the real world there should be no problem hitting a head at 200m with or without a scope. so that part is not that unrealistic, ofcourse in combat its harder then on a range but it is still something most well trained troops can do.

And yes looking forward to people having to use proper firing techics.

oh sorry,i mis-spoke...if scoped weapons have same recoil and accuracy as in .7 THEN the balance will be messed up.

Accuracy in .7 is WAAAAYYY more realistic than in .756. .756 is just headshots after headshots.

Which is odd as the M14 and the SVD should recoil in a very similar manner as the M14 fires the exact same 7.62 NATO round and the round used by the SVD is actually slightly more powerful.

G3 and M14 do the same damage in game because of that, not sure about the recoil but its pretty similar. You can try and use M14 up close if you like
