    On this video, devs mention the different game modes hidden in the 32 player versions of each map. Seems there is a whole load of variety in these maps

    The random CP layer is broken on all maps except Barracuda. We'll have to wait for .85 before it is fixed unless they release a hotfix for it prior.

    Haha disp, don't you know there isn't going to be a .85 ?
    They always have so much new stuff, that they'll have to at least call it .9 or something . I'll take bets on that. Let's hope for a hotfix then for the random aas.

    They've actually redone 16p maps too. Check out 16 OGT, its way better than 64p OGT.

    That vid has every single combination of every map shown on screen or you can browse your game files to see the same

    ogt 16p is shown at 5:50

    [Battlefield 2] Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 status

    There has been a lot of discussions on the Battlefield forums regarding the Battlefield 2 Update 1.50, so this is to let you all know what’s happening.


    Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again.

    We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year.
