Re: PR Dev Journal.
The US Marines Still use the "huey" and it being implemented is right on.
Now I hope it will be used as a mobile command center, in conjunction with SeaHawks, I hope they don't take the seahawks out of the equation.

Randy, I think you misinterpreted my use of the word "flip." I have edited my post to convey my heartfelt delight.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Think the surpression is a bit OTT but cant tell till its played I guess. I allready get plenty of blurry from regular fire, anyone who was defending heli base on fools road the other day knows what I mean.
We had apc firing on us for 40 mins, so seeing this big suppression effect for 40 mins is going to really bug (probably thats the whole point!)

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Well holy gee wilikers lol. Huey with a couple of M60's in the side instead of mini guns would be the ideal package.
New maps only create new problems, such as Albasrah and the crash problem. I guarantee at least one map will have issues maybe three. Looks good anyway.
I really want to see some Harrier footage. Like the hover ability. I am curious how they did it.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
That supression fire is really overpowered. I really dont think it should last that long, but oh well...

Re: PR Dev Journal.
look at it this way squadexdus, if you are under heavy fire, your head is ducked down and you are looking for all the cover you can kit while being a bit disoriented and a bit confused....at the same time you are trying to pop off shots at the enemy who is now trying to overrun you. You are being suppressed, and now reverse it, think of the confusion you are causing the other side when you put down suppressing fire.
Its a nice addition IMO, now it can have a positive effect.Randy = Ace ! - Warlab

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Yeah, well they may as well remove the medic altogether now, because if someone goes down in a firefight, no amount of smoke you throw out or skill you have is going to get them back up and fighting. At 12m for the start of suppression effects, it makes getting to a downed squadmate/teammate nearly impossible. Not to mention that if you get a bullet that hits close or actually hits you, you can no longer see where the person is and it blurs your vision enough that you cant get an accurate placement for the defib. Another beautiful nerf on a class that keeps taking it in the rear, patch after patch after patch.
The old light blur for suppression, mixed with a black screen for death would have been just fine. I think the new suppression effects are entirely overkill.
As for the rest of the features in the patch, I love em. I just have to find a new job to do now.

). And is it just me, or do the G3 iron sights look different? If only he had actually fired the new G3, then that video would have been complete...
