    took about three days work I think but I recon its turned out really nice. Done the skin with bump and spec maps, aswell as the LODs, COL meshes and the import

    Katarn's going to have a little play with it to fix a small problem with the idle animation and to try and get that little bit of hand to stop sticking though the handle

    Suppression.

    I have yet to download the new patch and try out the suppression effects as I 've been in Austria for a week but here 's an update from the dev journal:

    A 7.62x51mm NATO bolt-action sniper rifle with a 5-round rotary magazine. Extremely accurate and should be a tough competitor to the L115A1 and M40.

    Wow omg that is a nice sniper! No more crappy L96A1. That sniper we have now blows, i was about 200 meters infront of some guy and he was running at me, straight on, i aimed for his torso and shot......the bullet landed like 2 feet to his left.

    BTW just kicking around the community modding forums and in the Canadian forces area...WOW great models of several guns and car and planes!

    This is just a little treat that is being prototyped by the miltary, its pretty sweet....Would stop every other vehicle in its tracks.

    The skin tweaks have been done by [R-CON]Geze which has been doing a really nice job on lots of our skin tweaks as to date
    The new Paveway II LGB (Laser Guided Bomb) and Brimstone Air to Surface AT Missile where modeled and skinned by [R-DEV]Stigger (which you can also see on his Harrier renders) and Imported by myself.

    This model looks simply amazing and I love the sweep back wings... and look at the size of those bombs .

    I just hope the EXTENSIVE view distances work better with hills than Kashan does, but I doubt it.

    They might release another mini-patch before 0.8 to tweak with some of the mechanics of things. Otherwise I foresee a few tweaks along with all those maps in the next version 0.8.

    The wings move?! Looks awesome, its incredible the amount of work done by everyone and 30 maps sounds unbelievable.
    I'd like that very much so you could almost forget what is around the next corner, more dynamic and 'realtime' Is it still true that long map lists can make a server unstable though

    Jets are top of the food chain so variety there can only be a good thing for new gameplay. I presume this is not an actual 2 player model like you get in bf2
