Re: PR Dev Journal.
I was thinking about the current conflict in Israel and how it could be implemented in TG...creating the IDF, put them in Al Bashra in Insurgency mode with jets and choppers! And perhaps make more RPGs available to the insurgents.

Like this faction that's already in the works?

Plus there will be the Hamas faction to fight the IDF. I think they modified Karkand for a IDF vs. Hamas game

Re: PR Dev Journal.
The problem with the kits is not where you can request them, but that you have to request them. A soldier doesn't get his equipment after deploying on the battlefield, he starts off with it.
Forgotten hope had a so much more elegant kit-system, with also limits enabled. Unfortunately womething has kept the developers of PR from seeing that FH2 had more things that were worth taking than the suppression effects.
The kit system is ill-conceived, and it will never be "fixed". It's beating a dead horse really, but it seems more beating is needed to make sure it is really dead

Re: PR Dev Journal.
I prefer the nebulous "British vs. Insurgents" or "US vs. Insurgents" to an actual recreation of a modern day conflict. Throw some IDF skins into the game, call it "Israelis vs. Insurgents". If you want to experience that crap so badly, then enlist. Do it for real. :P

Re: PR Dev Journal.
Al, the thing though i think with FH2 is that for example with the mg42, there can only be like.. 5 in the world, but that doesnt limit the amount that can be in a squad, since i want to say it's first come first serve. PR has it so there's a 5 weapon limit for example, as well as a restriction to how many can be in a squad.
If PR can take what FH2 did as well as restirct the amount of a certain weapon in a squad, that might be the wisest fix.

Re: PR Dev Journal.
I think TG will not have too much trouble with new tactics that are needed, many TG members are already highly creative when they lead a squad or team.
