I was thinking...What if they was a sea map? Like no land, whatsoever. Only Boats and choppers, and maybe a jet. It will kinda be like Titan for 2142, the first team to lose all their ships loses. You could either board teh chips and destroy them, from the inside, or try to destroy them with jets and whatnot.

i think the reason for not doing it is that a realistic naval battle would require a map hundreds of square km large

4km is fine for a naval battle. Just shorten the View Distance a bit, or make it night time so it would be very dark.
My god...Imagine a huge naval battle, only illuminated by the moonlight, and the naval guns!
