Have to agree there about the 'early morning' gang. The gameplay is so much different playing during North American day/evening compared to the early morning even though the number of players can be quite high.

Often I can't even be bothered playing PR during the evenings in my country because of the smacktard factor increasing by about 10x. So I tend to only play during the daytime here to equate with North American afternoon/evenings.

I think it boils down to that players don't get familiar with the usual TG expectations because there are so few 'regulars' around at that time of night.

It seems that, for some reason, Europeans are generally less willing to work together as a team than Americans are, and the Europeans who do enjoy teamwork usually play later in the day when Americans start coming on. I believe this might have something to do with the language barrier.

Of course this is a generalization like no other, but you get the point I hope.

Myself I'm Swedish by the way, and I usually play later in the evening for above mentioned reasons. Although I did feel like playing right now, but after reading your post I might as well wait a few hours.

Hmm...I disagree. European myself, and I have never really experienced anything like stated during my time here. I would say that more than anything so do the quality of the rounds have to do with the presence of IHS-members and supporting/regular players. I would say that up until 1700h [GMT] so is the coverage quite poor on the server. After that do we have, as someone said, the Europeans coming home from work/school and log on to the server. They maintain a presence on the server until perhaps 2300h [GMT], which is also a time where our freinds across the pool have come home and started to play. Once our US-freinds call it a night, then I would say that the quality takes a nose-dive until the cycle repeats itself. The problem is that I dont think that we will see much people from SE.Asia due to ping-issues etc.

We may work better together, but we all think America is the greatest... I cant stand the people that think they're all high and mighty because there American, and go grab a chopper and consequently crash it. But, being an American, I'm not allowed to say that, because they monitor my internet.

Remember the hour you play on. It is a 6 hour delay between european time and US first timezone in New York. The third timezone in California is 9 hours after europe.

Both europe an US has its periods of noobie hours and excellent playin hours. AND it is dependant of the day as well.

Weekdays workinghours up to 2100 at evening. Many players that wanna fly and go BF2 style oneman tanks, run around like rabbits, never hide. Fun for experienced players who wanna KILL! =) Poor teamplay.

Weekdays. Early evening at 2100 -2300, excellent play. Mostly grownups and older teenies.

Weekdays Later 2300 - 0200 grownups that are a bit high on alcohol and other beverages, play is above excellent.

Saturdays, all afternoon up until about 2300 0100 tremendous play. After that, the servers are like crazy, drunk people sleeping in a one man tank etc.

Sundays, improvement, but more aggresive playin...

There are exceptions, but thats what to expect averagely. I have also experienced more teamplay on US primetime than european. In europe you ave many tendencys of nationalism, that is, french people will seldome follow an english order etc. Russians sometimes want to play together, all in all british and germans goes very well together, and swedes are the most grownups of them all

Russiians have very good teamplay as well, I like Thoors servers, where these guys play a lot.

I think americans have a feeling for giving orders, i.e. FORMING teamplay, as you have a military experience among your people as only brits have in europe. There is something about seeing the war in Iraq as something serious that makes life dependant on order following etc. Its in the culture. In europe we just have had two large devastating wars the last century, and all the fighting populations where just vanished, the german preussian culture, and the brittish empire nerve, of war went up in smoke. Thank God for that.

Lot of bs, but I just speak my mind. Theres always good and bad games. I usually exit bad games and do something more useful, but most of the games are splendid teamwork, and I get stuck. I also use to play late nights when US has their afterwork primetime. Thats when the games are like crazy. Really good.

the frenchies dont like to be bossed around by an Italian, except if his name is bugatti.
But yeah I noticed that playing here during the late afternoon is horrid.

Remember here in the US of A, late afternoon or after 3pm = school is out/middle schoolers who shouldn't be playing the game or high schoolers who have yet to mature are most likely running rampant on servers and not taking their meds for ADD.

I'm sure you euro's can whip them into shape though.
