Re: WOW vs. PR
IIRC, spells in WOW, as well as physical attacks have a range far shorter than any of the weapons in PR. Plus, what the hell is some mage going to do versus a tank? Throw a fireball at it? unless its a depleted uranium fireball, o0o0o0o, real scared. WOW players would get decimated, just as their souls have been already by playing the god forsaken game.

Re: WOW vs. PR
Apparently people aren't reading the post well.
Invision a battle taking place in your mind. PR vs. WOW.
I'm 100% positive that WOW characters would be decimated. But how do YOU see the battle unfold? Be creative here people! Sheesh.
And stop bashing me for posting it. Just tell me what happens to those poor suicidal WOW players.
Was kind of hoping for long detailed and creative posts...

Re: WOW vs. PR
Allright here we go! You say that PRians would decimate the WoWers easily. Well lets make a comparison between the two!
Tanks in PR: Alot of armor, strong cannon, Can be disabled
Tanks(Warrior) in WoW: Alot of HP (up to 10000), Can charge the enemy and stun, Alot of armor, able to taunt the enemy towards him letting the DPSers go ballistic on the enemy without being harmed.
Medic in PR: Has to be close to the object he has to heal, has to be close to the object he has to revive.
Medic(Priest) in WoW: Can quickly heal the object with a high ammount of HP, Good range on the healing abilities, good range on revive ability, able to change to shadow form for better DPS
Spec Ops in PR: Good ammount of explosives and firepower on him, has a SOFLAM
Spec Ops(Rogue) in WoW: Able to go stealth, backstab, fast rate of damage.
Anti tank in PR: Slow rate of fire, low on ammo, has to lock on.
Anti tank(mage) in WoW: Fast rate of fire, lots of mana, good DPS.
Sniper in PR: Extremly long range, good rate of fire, has a semi stealth like thing, good damage.
Sniper(hunter) in WoW: Short range, good damage, has a pet which can take the enemys attention with ease.
Transport in PR: Fairly fast, not very protective from AT, can be armed with a good gun.
Transport(mounts) in WoW: Can increase the characters speed by 100%, invinsible(practicly shares the HP with it's master.
Aircrafts in PR: Extremly fast, very good wepon systems, low on armor.
Aircrafts(flying mount) in WoW: basicly the same as a regular mount except it can go up to 250% of the characters speed.
Buffs in PR: none
Buffs in WoW: there are alot of them! most of them are very good.
I'd say that we wouldn't stand a chance against a well coordinated 25 man raid team... sorry

Re: WOW vs. PR
I'm sorry, but I don't think it was wise to expect legit answers when dealing with the topic of that god forsaken wow. The very thought of millions of fat, sweaty nerds melding with their chairs and atrophying to nothing in front of such filth is sickening.

Hmm, lets see. How long does it take to cast a spell vs how long does it take to pull a trigger? END OF DISCUSSION, CLASS DISMISSED!

Re: WOW vs. PR
I think it's rather funny how this topic is getting so many people worked up. The guy wants a story? Fine.
A long time ago.. in servers far, far away... there lived the WoW players. Millions of them.
Not-so-long-ago... in one server very near to us today... there lived the TG PR Players. All 63 of them. (the last slot of the server wasn't taken, as Nardini, the magician that he is, made himself disappear).
We win.
Hahahaha I probably just wasted about 10 minutes typing this up. *re-reads*.. eh, notsobadafterall.
I have to agree with BetterDeadThanRed on this one. Can't possibly expect serious answers on a topic so make-fun-of-able like this one.

Re: WOW vs. PR
Well they use teamwork to complete scripted events that never change. On the other hand, PR is so dynamic that teamwork, out-of-the-box planning really pay off long run. For wow just get 25 people on the same page, practice what needs to occur when, where, at what time, how, who, and why and master that series of events that occur in the script. Then finally your guild/clan can farm that non-stop for months.... FUN? wrong...

Re: WOW vs. PR
Ehhhrmm.... lets think....
a well placed headshot from the sniper rifle for the freaky night-elf healer.... no medic, hrhr
a nice at for the tauren druid... oh I´m so sorry I´ve blown your beard into pieces
ha now the humans think they can lead them to victory... hah! youve been trained to use your swords... but not trained to learn history... swords are not "in" anymore, and we are still better with the knife... so their 5 "cool" humans: knifed!
the little gnom rogue thinks he´s so smart and sneaks up from behind... ha too bad... his intelligence was not enough to identify the apc... rogue -> blasted!
yeah yeah, I´ve allready tears in my eyes... the dwarven mage thinks his ub3r-train3d-h!gh sk!ll3d-fireball 0wnzzzz... haha you noob-kiddie, you just burned your robe a bit... and look behind you... hrhr you´ve been hit by the shovel
small break... unit-crosscheck... *peep-peep* *radioed* 32 TG-PR --- 10 STUPID - WOW *radioed*
we go on, place some c4 on their tanks... an orc arrives... huh? never seen that thing? here you go, *giving orc another c4 packet*... study the tech, youll be better off next time we meet again... we leave... the orc looks at the c4... *click* *BOOOM!*
so thats how we have some good tasting orc-meat for the after-battle-party
you still ask whats up with that troll hunter who as the only unit in their team, has hit 3 of our men? oww... oww... ouch... after we revived the injured and healed them... we flanked the troll... giving him no chance, and finally unloaded any loaded magazines, including the .50 cal to prevent any further injuries
so final after-battle-check... some light injuries caused by bows, a scratch on the APC´s polished armor
, some back-armor injuries to commander and high ranked members, cause of them laughing off their asses
*victory jazz band playing the british march*
