The red background def blows. Use a more subtle color, or just use the pic. Font looks good.

Alrighty, I'll change 'er.
The font is two layers together, the yellow one being slightly "bulkier" than the black one. It wouldn't really fit with the pic alone.

Sonic, I said it's from the site. But to be honest, I'm not too committed to this contest, I really just wanted to test what little skills I have using GIMP.

Keep up the good work. BTW there is a tone of good PSP, GIMP, Etc. tutorial out there. Your pic is abit basic, but you can built on it... Sade, transparancy, texture... etc.
