Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament
I was in C5 and C6, but I had to resign in each one. This time I'll get in and stay for sure though. (=

Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament
Battlearena is gonna be T-CON once again and with the jump in north american players it will most likely be split between American and EU servers every other battle.
Sign ups are gonna work a little differently now, it is no longer just a conscript type of deal. You will now be screened through by the teams and accepted by their terms from a recruit pool. Or so I hear thats the plan. I personally dont like it because it may come off as elitist and that you have to be good enough to participate or something of the sort but it will cut down on dealing with fireflies.

Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament
The problem with that is there are a lot of anti-TG people out there (a lot of whom hate us because we have the most popular PR server), so regardless of how good we are, we're going to get X-ed out of the teams because of the bias if anti-TG people are in charge of the teams. If theyre going to do a tournament, they oughtta just do standard tournament style teams: we pick them ourselves and enter accordingly. Teams that dont show up or dont have enough players forfeit.

Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament
None of this is true specially the reasoning. We've had plenty of TG peeps in the tournie without a problem. Its the TG admins that a lot of people seem to resent and this is throughout the entire PR community and dont need me to remind you. Majority of the PRT play on TG on a regular basis and more would if there wasnt AB enabled (squad pubbing). PRT is a collection of players from anything that has to do with PR and reflect its community as such whatever reputation you have will carry through. There also some 13th MEU haters if it makes you feel less singled out.

Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament

Im not sure if entire IHS could join or not, would be good to see lots of organisation but the commanders of each team have allready come forward and the team structure is then descended from those choices downwards so you'd need to speak to them I guess.
It is basically just a load of players looking to play together regularly and use proper plans. You either play allied on all the maps or you play axis of evil on all the maps
Apart from that you can shift about as you like if you have permission to from the command structure, etc
The games do play alot different, its above scrim play imo just because all the players do better for being in a regular squad just like I imagine IHS can operate here but on the scale of the entire team

Re: PRT - Project Reality Tournament
Can you refrain from posting ridiculous hatred reasons such as this?
If that was the only reason, then I doubt the issues with PR community vs. TG would be brought up on and on and on.
But it isn't because there are a lot more deep and actual reasons behind the whole thing and each side has it's own view on it, so it'll probably never get resolved and it certainly has nothing to do with TG being a "popular server" because there are also servers such as T&T, Thors Brigade and Russian reality that are also popular and you don't see hate threads on those a lot do you?
