Try the new patch, it's fixed it so it's playable. If it seems unpolished, move your graphics settings up. I agree that it was a buggy mess before, but with the new patch fixing the VOIP and a few other things, it's tight.

I refrained from posting even though I saw this thread when it was made. I was extremely skeptical of this, and was sure Randy would have mentioned it when we played Qwai together like yesterday or Sunday or something. Anyways, I have to say your posts were quite convincing, but I was still not convinced.

    Hahaha. Good one.. *wipes tears*

I, personally, await the coming of "Project Realty: Adjustable Rate Mortgage Adventures" (PR:ARMA).

Damn, we should have said we were going to Team Fortress 2 for the increased realism aspects!
Just because everyone does something does not mean that it is right to do.

Cant play ArmA well atall, but sort of glad about that, however iv sort of put all of hope of really enjoying PR again in making a ArmA style map.

I doubt most of will ever put down PR for good, however breaks from anything in life are often essential becuase you forget what life was like with out those things, therefore you become unable to fully appreciate and respect them anymore.

So Cya boys around...be it next week or next year!
I understand people wanting to take a break from heavy gaming once in a while, that's cool.

But there are lots of great and different teamwork-oriented games at TG, so it can be fun to also try out one of those if PR or your regular game feels a bit dull.

It can actually help you find your "regular" game more fun when you try returning to it.

I read you guys like a book. No one passes my FoolProof Firewall!

You guys have just had too many good times to just up and leave like that. If anything, it would be VERY gradual.

But, I can understand if Dirtboy is leaving. He doesn't give a **** what anyone else thinks. If he wants to do something, he'll do it.

Re: It's been a long road...

I have a question about ArmA

are the expansion packs worth buying?? as you know with Battlefield 2 the expansion packs are useless. does the current TG ArmA server do vanilla ArmA or does it only do the expansions or are there 2 separate servers.

I am probably going to get ArmA, and of course, play almost exclusively on a TG server, so i'd like to know. Do I get vanilla ArmA or do I get ArmA gold edition?????

    danke Leute!

    That does it.
From now on I'll be spending every April 1st asleep, to avoid any more trauma from situations like this.

Buy the basic game, you don't need anything else.
