Re: Regarding Fool's Road
Fool's Road with different CP order would be nice.
British
Village -> Train Depot -> Warehouse
Militia
Militia Outpost -> Helicopter Air Drop -> Hilltop
Contest and main fighting happen between Hilltop and Warehouse making flanking a must.
Or making them Counter Attack maps might be cool..

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
This is really all that needs to be said on this topic. It's been said before and I'm sure it will be said again. If you don't like what's on, change the channel and come back later. There is no way to make everyone happy 100% of the time so at some point or another we either have to suck it up or sit out for a while.

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
I really don't care what the map is...there are maps I like better than others, but give and take...there maybe guys out there that love the map I dislike, Ok so I will join a squad and do my bit.
Like what was said earlier if you dont like a certain map...Sit it out! The admins dedicate a lot of time to Pr & TG as a whole.....give them some slack, I've herd on TS..." I don't like this map! find an Admin!" Tougth sit it out.
That's the thing with online gaming you are always in control....if you don't like it...Click leave...
Peace to you all.....

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
How about making a TG map pack? If I'm correct Op Phoenix and Inishail Forest were made by someone from TG and would be really nice if these maps got converted for 0.7 and made into a map pack. I really miss them, they had beatiful scenery compared to never ending sand, mud and trees in current PR maps :/

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
I was really hoping that this post (below) would bring the complaints about different maps and the rotation to a close, but apparently it hasn't. I'm not looking to stifle people's opinions or say that you shouldn't post to contribute to a discussion, but I wanted to very clearly explain exactly what we have available as far as map options go. I would also like to see more constructive posts instead of the constant stream of criticisms and complaints.
Before I continue, let me say this: Our server is full 24/7 practically. If a few people don't like the current map, there are about 60 people on that do. If you want to hop out of the server to sit out a map, go ahead, because I guarantee you that there are about 20 people clicking 'Join' over and over to get on the server that would love your slot.
So, I'd like to turn this a new direction. How about we start posting on the maps that we do like:
Tactics and strategies
After actions reports
Let's contribute something positive to TG and try to make everyone's gaming experience and fun time a little bit better.

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
This is one of the best maps in pr, if you dont like it just dont play it. It goes on for ages and its gigantic I agree, so some wont like it.
I usually dont play kashan but I wouldnt bother saying remove it, I might ask it not appear twice in a maplist though! :O
I'll agree it might be worth changing some things just for some variety maybe but Im not sure if admin are allowed to mod maps without dev permission (on a public server).Fool's Road with different CP order would be nice.
Theres a custom fools road map match going ahead next weekend, see realitymod.com forums for it

Re: Regarding Fool's Road
Agree with disposablehero, if you dont like certain maps dont play them. each time a map comes up that you dont like, go open bf2 editor and start working on YOUR map ^_^
enough PR players have been doing just that, and soon we will have loads and loads of maps coming from the community! mapping is not easy but its definitely the #1 way to influence PR directly.
As for fools road, personally I think its an awesome map and tons of fun to play, although i admit the restrictions of AAS gameplay kind of spoil the diverse terrain of this map, but its still great fun
