    We won't remove 7 Gates from the rotation.

    And please stop complaining about HAT snipers before this thread gets locked, yes it's annoying but so is constant whining and complaining.

    Last game I played it was going ok. I knocked the Chinese courtyard TOW out with HAT, it has a clear outline from far away so UK should do this every time. TOW doesnt respawn.

    What's the difference between being killed by?

    1) A sniper from 700 meters
    2) A tank from 700 meters with it's double zoom
    3) Frag spam on EJOD
    4) A prone-diving headshot
    5) A HAT shot when you're running to the River Fort?


    Answer: There isn't any difference - you're still dead.

    That's your answer right there.

    Yes, H-AT Sniping is annoying, but it's a done deal. Too hard to enforce, too easy to abuse. It's not practical to remove a map because it's "too easy" to H-AT snipe on it. There's only two H-AT kits per team, and disposable makes a good point, we wouldn't be complaining here if it was a sniper or a tank, would we?

    I think it was said that there is no variable zoom available on it so the double zoom didnt make sense in that way.
    10x zoom and 2 mins to reload is ok by me, that way there is only so many rockets that can be fired each game and those fiddly to position apc have a chance to return fire vs the pop up rocket man

    HAT sniping does suck but if you use a marksman and blow that SOBs head off the HAT is out of commision for 5min, i think.

    Ok guys are we thinking of the same HATs? Im thinking of the TOWs positioned on the Citadel. Usually when I see an APC, Ill jump on it to kill the APC and its only been 10 minutes into the game(exaggeration but you know what Im driving at) and find it to be empty! We haven't even blown up the IFV or the CFV yet. That's what I'm complaining about cause it's like 2 or 3 more HAT kits for the Chinese to drop shells onto the Fort with.

    Doesn't matter - open season.

    This goes back to my point about usage of the H-AT: Use it at your discretion, just don't fret when you're out of ammo and some type of armored vehicle breathing fire and wielding death comes around the corner and you've nothing left to kill it with.

    Sure, you can kill infantry with it, and it's fun, but is it really the best usage of the weapon? That's up to each player to decide (and in the case cited by Delta above, your decision can impact your team in the future).

    Choose wisely.

    I enjoy a good round of seven gates, it spices things up a bit, and yes, the chinese are at a disadvantage, but thats more of a reason for a commander to be put into place to really fortify the chinese main fortress and start to probe the outlining forest area in an attempt to further defend the lone flag on the outside, or to get everyone in position to launch a counter-attack on the brits who might be a bit to comfortable in their new surroundings.

    And I agree with the complaining about using HAT, if a player honestly wants to use it on infantry and waste it, so be it, that is their loss to themselves, to their squad and to their team. Yes i get agitated, but its life, there are those who strive to play a game with maturity and with tactics in mind, and there are those who do not....its how life works.

    now only if we could get hills of hammyong in the rotation or a good INF only round of qinling 16, but as of right now i am content and happy with the rotation that the admins and moderators have set up for us to be able to play on.

    Im not saying Im doing it, Im finding it like that! It's annoying that my team mates dont think about the armor before they use the TOWs on the infantry....
