Well, the luckiest moment I saw on PR was Ollie_Fool running in front of a damaged friendly tank that was supporting our infantry at Mine on Qwai. The incoming TOW missile blew him to smithereens but the tank was saved!

He actually blocked the TOW with his body ? Didnt know a direct hit on infantry was possible that way

If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have obviously failed to plan properly.

i can still remember one time on Kashan desert, i wasn't the lucky one, some1 on the faaaaaaaarrr other end of the map was.

So i was MEC helo pilot just landed and went out of the chopper. moved a bit backwards, and then BOOOOOOM my chopper blew up by a rocket. And i was like: "FTW!" There was no bloody enemy around the base, so i asked who shot a rocket at our main, and then there was this one guy saying" Well, i shot a rocket in that general direction, but that wasn't on purpose, i'm standing in the US main."

So both of us were lucky, i survived and he hit my chopper.

People that try to knife people are quiet foolish at it is very risky. It's best to finish them of with your pistol if you're a sniper.

I disagree. If your careful, and he's fairly alone, knifing is better. No report to warn other hostiles in the area.

But I digress. The luckiest moment I think I've had so far was managing to accidently flank and destroy an entire TF21 tank squad on kashan with only one tank. Then subsequently repeating the episode fifteen minutes later against two more tanks, in the same tank we started with. I felt so proud. Lasted at least 1 & 1/2 hours with that tank.

This must have been .5 or .6 since it was on Al Bashra. As an insurgent I had the RPG and the US was laying waste with an Apache. I found myself out in the sand dunes north of the city and the Apache was flying my way, apparently to re-arm. He was flying low and fast; I popped a shot off nearly at random. Scored a direct hit and the burning carcass sailed over my head, landing some 20 feet behind me.

Well my luckies moment was not on TG server,

I was trying to HAT a chopper howering upp high allmost directly above me waiting for the timer to go down. When sombody stars shoting me up close from behind (full auto).

I pull the trigger, dive and turn around and before I mange to pull out my handgun the remains of a chopper fall down on the guy shooting me.

Well my patch and the enemies patch where just enought to get me to a friendly medic before bleading out.

Last night on Qwai. We were ordered into the mine to clear out an enemy firebase with our tank. After playing whack-a-mole with some pesky engineers we finally destroyed the FB down to the ground. Unfortunately, we had also soaked up 4 or 5 L/AT hits and pulled back towards government to effect repairs. Our driver Ecko popped up on the .50 so that we could both scan while Rico wrenched. We had just finished repairs and Ecko popped back into the drivers seat causing the tank to lurch forward a few feet. At that exact moment a TOW missile shot past us in our old location. We promptly reversed and engaged it with the main gun.

Some damn nice work by your AT crews last night at mine. That place was a death trap.

Just today. Confirmed sniper kill on Kashan at 658M. Enemy sniper started to close distance from 700M, and half a second after my firing on his aproximate location to be (he was running), he goes prone. Right into my bullet. 200+ points. I have it on Fraps and am going to have the Battlerecorder for it. =)

Luck? Nah.. Skill, and mistake. Skill, for my sniperness and judging enemy patterns, Mistake, for going prone right into my pattern.

Zatar on the TOW at centre hill. A tank had engaged us and had just driven up the slope at Village and made a left. I fired and the rocket went streaking off after the tank. The tank crested the slope, turned left and trundled off left into village. Oh well missed I thought and then remembered you can apply 'aftertouch'. I halfheatedly yanked my mouse left and down in a curve and a second or so later BOOM and a big cloud of smoke. I just sat there stunned as it was confirmed the tank was destroyed. Our squad then burst out laughing. The delay between the tank and rocket disappearing out of view seemed like ages, the tankers must have wondered what the hell!

Qwai River. We were on the little mounds in the water NW of north bridge engaging a squad on the opposite side of the river. Suddenly an opfor R.I.B. comes streaking up the river so we are engaging that and covering behind these little mound things. I had just fired a few rounds, ducked and popped my head up when it became apparent that they were charging us in the boat. The boat then hit full steam before ploughing into the little mound I was hiding behind and launching Dukes of Hazzard style over mine and a squadmates head. We ducked just in time to look up at the bottom of the boat sailing over us. The boat landed in a heap on the bank behind us so we opened up and killed the remaining occupants, then cracked up laughing. One of those days when you wish you had fraps running or something.

Spawning in Kashan, only to see a Vodnik 4 metres away from our spawnpoint. The gunner didn't spot me or the rallypoint, which he would have have if he had just looked to the left of him. As I didn't want to try shooting him to avoid letting him see the rallypoint, I crawled over to the Vodnik and dropped a smoke grenade. The Vodnik then left without ever noticing the rallypoint or me.

LOL I can vouch for that !!!

My luckiest moment was on Jabal flying in a Blackhawk when our pilot got shot down flying at around 200m altitude by an enemy vodnik. Everyone jumped out over the Dam and none of us had parachutes. The momentum of my fall took me right towards the ground level where a friendly humvee was sitting. I held down "E" hitting the rear of the jeep, was instantly put in the driver seat, and drove away. A 1-in-a-million chance of surviving the fall, only to be killed by an rpg seconds later as I drove off into the sunset.
