Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
Removal of the distance fog! Snipers in real life are suppost to hit targets over 1000 meters.
I'm been doing 500 only. Also, make those marks on the scope actalluy mean something. It'd be good if they were bullet drop markers.

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
What are you talking about? Of course they are bullet drop markers. You just need a point of reference.
Look at the SVD reticle for example. The diagram in the lower left is the tool you use to calculate bullet drop. If you are looking at a 1.5 meter tall man, and his height matches the distance from the marker below the 4 to the big thick horizontal line, then he is four hundred meters away.
For markers on the main "+" crossheir, those are usually markers like "At 600 meters, the bullet drops this much."
EDIT: This page explains the marks on the G36 reticle. The general idea behind it is universal to most scopes.|TG-XV| Waldo_II

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
Ill tell ya what im not excited about...2 things.
One: Its gonna UBER impossible to get on the TG server with all the new (mostly n00bs) playing. Time to be a supporting member methinks
Two: The influx of N0obs on the server. Retards running around willy nilly asking over and over again "How do i get a diff kit?"
"Lolz, i just tried to take off and my chopper blew up????!!??11!??//?"
"Why is there no cross hairs?"
etc etc etc
Happens every beta, but at least theres allways a few good ones who turn out to be good players. I raise my Hot Toddy to them!

Feeling you on that one... Server may want to stick to only land vehicle maps for awhile until the number of idoits dies down a bit,

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
I wrote a big long winded post about how wrong you were, and tried to explain why, but I will keep it simple....
I am talking about MILDOT RETICLES ON SNIPER/PRECISION RIFLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not BDC Optics
There is a huge difference
You are telling me over the internet how you think diffferent styles of optics, that I have experience with, work. Awesome.
But of course, I am glad you are the expert
You are wrong, you do not pass go, and you do not collect $200.
Try again

Re: What are you excited for/want to see in .8?
You two are talking about different sights. Some of the sniper rifles do have mildot reticles, others (and the assault rifles AFAIK) have the BDC optics.
