Re: Something to think about
Well, I think no one will argue with saying this much: I'm just happy to have a commander. From a squad leader perspective it makes life easier. You can get the bunkers/firebases you want and the backup you might need. While you can plead for help from other squads without the commander, an iron fist helps things along

As long as new or inexperienced commanders are willing to learn and take suggestions, no one should be buggin you. I personally don't go commander because I talk too much and I always forget to use squad specific comms. One day I'll train myself better on that but for now I'll stick to lookin out for my 5 minions instead of 30
But I enjoy commanding when people follow orders, there's usually at least one squad that will march from one end of the map and back for you on the server. Which is really all you need as comm. What I mean by this is you need a squad willing to do odd requests without explainations. This lets you manuver them while the rest autopilot their way around the logical path. Blatant disregard for commands isn't too frequent. Response times leave a little to be desired sometimes though. (Hopefully this notion encourages some people

Re: Something to think about
Rafter after reading your positive post I requested a class in regards to what you described. I would be more than happy to help instruct new commanders on the ways of communication, CP placement and giving build orders/demolish orders/letting squads know how one communicates and follows orders.
