    JDAM kills f16 in mid-flight

    I'm trying to find the BFR of kashan yesterday (late afternoon) but i couldn't find it.
    I was going to make a video about it and post it on the PR forums as well as here, but i'm having trouble finding it. Can someone help me out?

    I dont think the JDAMS in game work like that, i think they just spawn where they're placed instead of falling out of the sky.

    From my knowledge a JDAM in bf2 is fired by a single arty piece placed off where you can't see it in the map which has an extremely large blast radius and damage. Also, instead of firing 10 shots (or w/e it is) like a regular artillery it's just one with a different explosion graphic. Since it's fired like a regular arty there is the chance it could land on a jet in mid air although extremely unlikely. In vBF2 I've had an artillery round hit a chopper I was in at around 400 meters(?).

    Thats the simplest way the JDAM could work that I know of. The DEVs could have it in a more complicated way though.

    Edit: From looking at the .tweak file you can tell it is any extremely powerful artillery shot :P

    Probably the best timed thing ive seen in game so far, from my standpoint. The chances of a jet thats moving at 1200 k/h (i think thats the speed) going down for a quick peek and being caught in a jdam are really slim

    I thought you had laser tagged the jet, you do actually see a bomb falling if its dropped by plane and that is a smaller jdam. The smaller jdams have damage that goes right through solid buildings I think.
