Take out your knife and you'll double that speed.
But seriously...
Ferris's post pretty much summed up my opinion about wearing the |TG| and |TG-IHS| tags. The only thing I have to add to that marvelous post is that the thing with having such a big and open community is that sometimes there'll be a tagged member who isn't living up to the standards of wearing the tag. Remember that it could only take one of those people to set a bad name for all of us, and it only takes one of us to take the time to point out/help fix the problem. You'll be maintaining a positive image, and help bring in some new faces too.
The clear majority of TG has been setting this example already, so keep it up, and thank you!

Re: Tags...
The reasons I added |TG| to my username was because of the T of tactical in it. I read quite alot of posts before going online. I would hope that if people saw my name that they would think that I am indeed a tactical gamer in the meaning of the words. That they would not hesitate to form fireteams, to use formation and movement techniques.
Still learning, but now that I am squad leading (or even commanding), I hope that the |TG| tag makes people believe that they can expect having a leader that at least tries his best to play a tactical game with his squad.
All the things Drakenberg posted have in my mind more to do with the personality of an individual than the tag in general. I doubt that having that tag would change their behaviour much. The only thing you can do is talk about it ingame or report.
Oh yeah, and that reminds me of one bad action of mine. I was commander on two games and three times did I spot enemies near the main flag which was not in play. Three times did I look at them for a while thinking how to deal with them. And three times was I shot down. I got so fed up with it that after getting no names after asking for it I teamswitched and reported a few of them (not all of them as there seem to have been 8 players near our flag) then I switched back. I should have just made a screenshot and be done with it. Instead I caused a bit of a scene. Sorry for that and for perhaps making TG look immature.

Fish, as I see it, you did nothing wrong. The other team refused to hand over the culprits names and nobody was being of any help, so you switched, took care of the problem, and went back. Your team, I'm sure, didnt suffer much from the lack of a commander for a minute or two and you helped to clean up some problem players. If anything, good job.

Re: Tags... (one thread to rule them all)
What i meant when i wrote it wasnt that you get a bonus when having a tag, what i meant was the attitude, sure tagplayers play better with eachother than with random pubbies.
And many of them are better than a regular noob BUT what i was talking about was the attitide, Wearing a tag does not make you any better that you allready are.
Many players have this problem, when they get a tag they become cooler.
I´ve been away on boozemissions for the whole weekend, sorry for the lack of replys
Im glad this server havnt turned into a flamefest though
Time for pr, anyone on?
