I was thinking of getting us 8th guys to put something like this together for 2142.
I was thinking of making it more of a escape and be rescue type of game play, zombies can spawn anywhere on the map, the scenario is that a rescue helicopter in landing at the other end of the map in X minutes, you have to evade/kill the zombies and survive at the check point.
zombies can spawn anywhere, they can only sprint when they spot a survivor, so basically they are wandering around aimlessly until they find a survivor. Ah I'll have to look into the rules I was looking into setting down.A captain of the most awesome IHS ever and remember to burn before you pillage.

The scenario should be kept simple, guys. Keep the objectives simple, and don't put down a whole bunch of subtle restrictions on either team. If we need that kind of stuff, it'll probably be figured out on the fly.

maybe do a few rehearsals and see how it goes, then see wat restrictions we need to impose?

Not rehearsals, per se, but yeah. That's what I was thinking. No use doing fine tuning before we've seen how it plays.

I want it to be on a SUNDAY...last few scrims and such have been on saturdays. Is 3pm EST good for you Euros? that would be 11am West coast, so you hippies have time to eat breakfast.
Let's plan on Sunday AUGUST 10TH ? assuming we can get a server to host this for us.

Make it after the TTP scrim so it doesnt take away from that, im not in but i can see it doing. Plus i have an ulterior motive..... Im not on for a few weeks

Yea, it seems that every player event that goes on I can't make it because I am either gone or the Mrs. is telling me enough games. I can't believe she made me agree to only 2 hours a day as well. I am hardcore and can easily go 4+ hours a day.

haha no problem for thoes that are wondering what it's about you can see the E3 developers walkthrough here. It practically is 28 days all over again. They come out in masses. And if your wondering on the details it's four player co-op so you can team up with all your tactical buddies and wipe these guys out!

It's certainly a teamwork oriented game, that's for sure.
Man, I've been watching it for two damned years, now, and it's STILL not in until november. Valve can NEVER keep a schedual. :P
