Chammy comes to PR
Well, the man who made Chammy's Sound Mod for ArmA has come to PR, and is attracting quite a deal of attention.
Can't wait to hear em, though it'll be a while.

I'm excited to see the work that chammy can throw into the mix. It would be nice to hear some realistic distance effects as opposed to the standard BF2 distance effect, which I equate with listening to regular BF2 up close gunfire through a pillow.

OK, this actually has me excited. After my really good 5.1 surround headphones broke recently, I realized how important in game sounds really are. He does really good work, and the videos at the link above are actually from old versions I think. He has released updates since.
Can't wait for this!

He is working off some burnout in ARMA by helping with PR. He just posted about it in the forums. He is still going to finish the ARMA work as well.
