Maybe they will change the engine to go with frostbite ... PR in BF3! WooT!

I predict that CQC and long range weapons (draw times and accuracy)combine with new aiming, in PR 0.8, will change the game like suppressing fire and the removal of the radar. Reality will never be achived, but with this new realse, where getting close!

Just reading through that post and I noticed this:

Mini-mi Para, Sangin, Dragonfly, West Fallujah will likely not be making it into v0.8

At least there should be a few new maps as the current ones are getting quite stale.

Nixon, Hotrod525's thread is a compilation of future changes, some of which will be in .8, some of which will not. For instance, I'm pretty sure Sangin, Fallujah West, and Dragonfly will not be in .8. Unfortunately, the Chinook helicopter will definitely not be featured in .8. And there has been no public info on whether the new L86 will be in .8, along with some of the new effects like the HAT missiles and sights and the smoke effects created by Alex6714 (although, he is now an R-CON, so go figure).

Personally, I am most looking forward to the new maps and new gameplay mechanics.

All this is true, but we can hope! Even if a fraction of theses changes are in PR0.8 I'll be pretty happy. The list is merle to remind everyone of the future of PR and the possibilities of .8. I've got a good feeling about this instalment; I am just trying to see if every one is as hype-up as I am.

I really love PR, hell I got BF2 just to play this mod! But after .5 I didn’t feel the magic with the release... they just rush it to satisfy the mob. But the R-Devs will change this, I hope, and next time we will see each other on the battlefield I’ll be glad to play this game that I love so much!

I thought they said it wouldnt have a bayonet, its just the knife model will be changed and if it were real this could also attach to the gun but it wont in pr

Does even something like arma have a melee attack on rifles

this bayonet dose not obstruct the barrel, its a very good design of bayonet in fact. I wasn't going to post this render up before as you guys may have got the wrong idea but you can see clearly here, the barrel goes down the center of the handle...

I think most of us are looking forward to new maps... we 've been playing the same ones for years.

Gameplay tweaks come second and all the new gadgets are last on my list.

PS: and can we plz stop spamming all the threads with drooling over Creepin 's sig.
