That was Al Kufrah oilfield, in my opinion the worst map of PR. You joined my squad and all I hoped for was keeping Oil Storage. Our first CO was useless. Didn't had the Officer kit most of the time and even then he did not build the Command Post. We got him to resign and than you stepped up, but by then it was already too late as we lost practically all our tanks. That map then shows its ugly face as practically every flag area is lower than the surrounding area which means that the British can easily destroy any infantry/bunkers around the flag.

Punkbuster saved you from being spawncamped at MEC main for the last couple of minutes which is how that map ends most of the time. I think that map can only be won by the MEC team if infantry mines the entrances to the flag areas and just try hold off infantry long enough for a strike force to hit the next flag hard with all the APCs, tanks and a infantry squad working together.

I think so, too. But if you note that there were plenty of tall structures, a skilled SpecOps can get an entire squad equipped with AT, snipers, and spotters up onto the silos where it can be considerably hard for enemies closer to that location to kill them, enabling said group to be safe (and allow other squads to eliminate close-range targets) and keep long-range infantry at bay while calling in strikes against incoming armor, as well as using the AT kits.
Hey guys, this is a public service announcement from NKato. I am Deaf, so when the helo goes down, you're best off typing "AAAAAAAAIIIEEEEE!!!" instead of attempting to scream it. Thanks!
