Ive waited for a few releases of games in the past, I dont think it'll go up at some precise time personally

I thought PR had secured some sponsorship deal for a moment like crysis beta or something but i guess thats not actually allowed.

fp do give priority and faster speeds to paying peeps but otherwise sounds good to me

I actually cancelled my fileplanet membership a few weeks ago. In exchange I became a supporting member here. As a member w/fileplanet I was not happy w/the down load speeds. I found torrets downloaded faster and they are free. In my eyes being a file planet member has no extra benfits. Besides I'm sure once it's listed it will be avaiable via torrets. Seed People!

It has to be one of these three:

00:00 GMT. This has gone by, so it can't be this.
00:00 EST (GMT-5). Maybe, I doubt it. See below.
00:00 Pacific. Seeing as Fileplanet's servers are there, it is probable that it will be released at midnight their time. GMT-8. For me, in CST, that is 2 am. Gah!

Or you could always download it from a european site. When .7 was released I managed to get ahold of it a few hours before the US release from a german site =p.

Except it is being released first on Fileplanet only on Firday. You won't find it anywhere else until Saturday.

Why do we have to have school If it was weekend I could just set alarm wake up, start download go back to sleep. I'd get killed if I did that tonight...(forms evil plan)Ya right well anyway, I can download it tomorrow and invade tomorrow afternoon.

Or atleast, until someone has downloaded it from Fileplanet and uploaded it to a different site.
So yes, you'll find it on Fileplanet first.

I've learned through playing EQ for years never to take time off of work/school on the day of a new release. It'll take all day to download, it won't patch/install right and the servers will either be messed up or completely full.
Tomorrow I'll just start the download in the morning, go to work, then whenever it finishes (I have remote connection to my home PC) see if I can put up a torrent.

Yes. Check the manual (on the front page of the Project Reality website at the moment) for more info, but you need to uninstall PR and get rid of all shortcuts.
