Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
Yes - it's not bumper cars.
I did run down a squad the other night on Al Bashra. I was on patrol in a Landrover with two gunners when an enemy squad crossed the street ahead of us. As the gunners started firing some of the insurgents scattered, two others hunkered down in the middle of the street and returned fire. I didn't have to deviate from my original course, I just made burger out of one man, turned the corner and let the gunners take care of the rest. I may have hit another man around the corner who was running alongside a building but at that point I was trying to see where everything was and keep the jeep moving.

Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
hrmm... i can see why you people are complaining but i don't think this is that much of an issue. first of all, its fairly hard to run people over in urban maps, and second of all, if they are doing this, it's pretty easy to just kill the guy. especially with those forklifts, those things have no armor and are pretty much vulnerable to everything but knives.
actually, now that i think of it, the only problem with this is the fact those people are wasting valuable assets when other squads could be putting them to good use, but from what i've read on the first page, that's not what you guys are complaining about.

Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
A little bit of bumper ketchup is nothing to complain about. I mean yea it gets annoying to suffer this type of defeat over and over but things happen. A death is a death. It's not like anyones been cheated or given an advantage you couldn't have yourself.
Strive for realism as Dirtboy said is the rule this is under and everyone that plays on the server has a loose understanding of what that means. I don't know if anyone responded to it but it was asked "so can we report people doing this".
Leave the admins alone on this one... There's too much grey area with it. "!REPORTING some guy for not being realistic with a jeep" is subject to too much debate. "Was he simply traveling alone to pick his squad up and squished you?" "Was he scouting out the area?" "Was it an honest mistake?"
The best way to deal with an asshat in a Jeep is explosives. End of story.

Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
The only time it's really a reportable offense is if the person in the vehicle is pulling doughnuts and circling around to get everyone. That is misuse of the assets.

Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
another (unrelatd) thing to possibly change on the loadup for TG rules is the wording about spawn camping
it says dont spawn camp "uncap" until its in AAS order.
uncap should be renamed to mainbase to avoid confusion I think....
"uncap" is just not very descriptive plus there is NO reference to it in any PR manual/wiki or anywhere in the game itself.
also there is a new "sponsor text" that your server can put up, which can be read in the BF2 server browser, useful for a breif desciption on what TG is about or rules or whatever, currently TG has it blank.

Re: addendum to the PR SOP's/Loading screen
I feel dirty doing this, if there's guys infront of me already I may deviate a tad and run them over but going out with the intent to run people over just feels stupid. Although, as the admin said this can't really be enforced.
