Back when I had childlike visions of being in the army (and finding out I am the guy from Monty Pythons' 'Art of camoflage', so ummm... no..) this is what I can remember:
Browning Semi-auto Pistol
Some ickle .22
SLR 22 H&K conversion (cine-ranges etc)
SLR 7.62
Lee Enfield 3.03 Mk 4 (fired the most)
Bren LMG
Sterling SMG
Some Elephant Gun thingy (super barrel heavy)
105 mm Pack Howitzer :P

At a firepower demo I saw A10's go mad (and Harriers), Milans blow things up, mines make very loud bangs, Scimitars and Tanks make alot of mess, and found out Navy shells travel a very very long way, nevermind the infantry opening up (I remember the mines , Navy shell -scared the pants off me simply waiting for it to arrive :P and A10's the most).

226 is also my favorite... it is truly the cadillac of handguns. Which round do you like the most? I can't shoot anything other than 357 sig now that I've worked with it. Carrying HP and FMJ 357 sig rounds with a 226 pretty much covers anything you could ever ask of a sidearm.

Since I have a good friend who not only works for a local big-time gun place, but is also a gunsmith out of his house with a Class 3 or whatever the expensive thing is to own full auto weapons, I did not think that there were all that many guns that I had not seen/shot..but there are several things on the past couple of pages that I have not even heard of...

A Daisy bb-gun rifle
Lazer-tag guns (I own at my kids' birthday parties - who says PR is a waste of time?)
Various cap guns, with the .38 special being my personal favorite
A water gun that looked like an M-16 or some AR rifle - I don't know what
A real M-16 (yeah, I've shot a few real guns, too)
.22 rifle (I couldn't tell you what)

I went out to watch one of their test sessions once. Pretty cool equipment. They were gonna let me fire it but I got bored and left early while they were fiddling with it. (I tend to be more interested in the electronics and actuators than the actual gun.)

Guns aren't as big in Canada as they are in other places.

I didnt even know so many different pistols/rifles existed. Some off you guys really have a lot of weapons. In the Netherlands it's not that common to own/fire weapons. You can offcourse, but you'll have to go to a shooting club. But i personally dont know anyone who does that.

I would like to fire one some day, but preferably on something that will not get killed by it.

Im also seeing some guys who are serving or served in the army, i guess you'll have give your weapon back by the time you quit?!
